My name is Carlos. I started programming back in school with Pascal, where I got really frustrated because I couldn't code the classic "Snake" game. Years later, in college, I tried Pascal again and once more failed to make that snake move. It wasn’t until I discovered Java and Python that the world started to look much brighter.
Today, I work as an AI Backend Engineer, focused on designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and AI-powered solutions for web platforms. I also keep a strong DevOps mindset, working on CI/CD processes, software architecture, quality, and testing. I specialize in backend development with Python, Flask, FastAPI, Gunicorn, and Docker.
Outside of programming, I'm passionate about CrossFit and sports in general. I'm a huge fan of Rafa Nadal and Real Madrid.
